Not quite a full moon Friday
night, but with the strange things that
happened, it sure seemed like it. The
night started out OK in qualifying 2nd in the
sportsman and 6th in the late model. In
both heats, it seemed like we were always lined
up in the wrong row and had to work back towards
the front after getting trained to the back.
In the features, the Late Model finished a
respectable 5th with a missing motor. The
sportsman car is still a mystery though.
After working through about half the field, the
car just quit during a caution period. As
of this writing, we still do not know what the
cause was. Will be working on it this week
in an effort to make sure it doesn't happen
again.

It was another good week for
the race team last Friday night at MIS.
The Late Model timed in 7th, but then won the
heat race and the nights Feature event.
The sportsman car managed another quick time, a
second in the heat race and a third place finish
in the feature.

It was a pretty good start to
the 2009 MIS racing season. The debut of
the Sportsman car started out with a fast time
of 20.127. The Sportsman car then finished
3rd in the heat race and 2nd in the feature.
The Late Model was 6th in time, second in the
heat race and 4th in the feature.
The team would like to send Congratulations to
Mike Miller on his promotion to Vice President
of Sales for the First Supply corporation!!!
